Effective date: September, 2026
This policy explains how Zerqith.com handles personal information in connection with our website, documentation, support services, applications and related services. Contact [email protected] about this policy or a data request.
1. Our role
We determine how information is used to operate our own website, documentation, accounts, billing administration, support and security.
When you use one of our applications through a third-party platform or merchant account, the roles of the parties depend on the service and the information involved. We may act as a controller for information we use to operate our own services, and as a processor or service provider where we process information on a merchant's documented instructions.
A merchant may determine how information is collected and used through its own store or services. This policy does not replace the merchant's privacy notice or, where applicable, a data-processing agreement.
If your request concerns an order, account or other transaction with a merchant, contact that merchant first. We may assist the merchant with requests concerning information we process on its behalf where applicable.
2. Information we handle
The information we handle depends on how you interact with our services.
Website and documentation
Our hosting and security providers may receive information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, browser or device information and security events needed to deliver, secure and maintain the website.
The website does not currently include advertising pixels or analytics SDKs. If this changes, we will update this policy and implement any consent controls required by applicable law.
Accounts and service administration
Depending on the service, we may handle information such as account identifiers, platform or shop identifiers, installation status, access permissions, authenticated user information, account roles, service settings, subscription information and entitlement records.
Authentication credentials and other sensitive operational information are protected and are not intentionally displayed publicly.
Information you provide or configure
We may handle information and content that you submit to or configure within our services, including settings, configuration data, support information and other content necessary to provide the requested functionality.
If a service allows content to be displayed publicly, do not include personal information that you do not intend to make public.
Support
If you contact us, we may receive your contact details, correspondence and diagnostic information that you choose to provide.
We may ask for limited technical information needed to reproduce or investigate a problem. Please remove passwords, credentials, payment-card details and unrelated personal information before sending diagnostic material.
Billing
Where subscriptions are billed through a third-party platform, that platform administers the applicable payment process. Our operational records may contain information such as a subscription identifier, selected plan and entitlement status.
We do not collect payment-card numbers through these third-party subscription flows.
3. Contact form
The contact form asks for your email address, topic and message. Your name and the product or service you are contacting us about may be optional.
We use this information to respond to your request, provide support and manage communications. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to marketing communications.
Please do not include passwords, credentials, payment-card details or unrelated customer records. Attachments are not accepted.
When online submission is available, the form sends the information you provide to our configured contact and email services for delivery to our support mailbox. These providers are described in our service-provider register.
The service may temporarily hold a limited technical identifier in memory to prevent abuse. Hosting and mail providers may separately retain request and delivery records.
Before submission, the website does not intentionally save contact-form fields in cookies or browser storage. The Copy message function writes the draft to your device clipboard only when you choose that action. Browser autofill, clipboard history and browser extensions operate according to your device and browser settings.
If online sending is unavailable, preparing or copying a message does not send it to Zerqith.
4. How and why we use information
We use personal information only for purposes connected with operating, providing, securing and improving our services, including to:
- authenticate and authorize users;
- provide requested features and services;
- save and apply service configuration;
- administer subscriptions and entitlements;
- respond to support requests;
- diagnose and resolve technical problems;
- prevent abuse, fraud and unauthorized access;
- maintain the security and reliability of our services;
- communicate with users about their accounts or requests; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.
We do not use shopper measurements or similar merchant-service data to build advertising profiles.
The current website does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Where applicable law requires a lawful basis, the basis may include performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, or consent where consent is required.
We do not rely on consent where another lawful basis is required or more appropriate.
5. Who receives information
We may disclose or provide access to personal information to:
- service providers that host, store, transmit, secure or maintain our services;
- providers that help us operate support, communications, authentication or infrastructure;
- platforms through which our applications or services are provided;
- professional advisers and other providers where reasonably necessary to operate our business;
- authorities or other parties where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety or security; and
- parties involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring or similar business transaction, subject to applicable protections.
Service providers are authorized to process information only for the purposes for which we engage them and subject to applicable contractual and security requirements.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to provide services, maintain records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations and protect our services.
Where a specific retention period applies, we use that period. Otherwise, we determine retention based on factors such as the purpose of processing, the nature of the information, security requirements and applicable legal obligations.
Legal, security or dispute-related requirements may require limited information to be retained beyond a normal operational period. In those circumstances, access and use remain restricted to the relevant purpose.
Where an application or service supports uninstall or deletion workflows, those workflows may revoke access and initiate applicable deletion or review processes. Deletion from active systems does not necessarily mean that information is immediately removed from backups. Backup copies expire according to the applicable backup lifecycle.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location and our role in relation to the information, you may have rights to:
- access personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate information;
- request deletion of information;
- request restriction of processing;
- object to certain processing;
- receive a copy of certain information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
- lodge a complaint with a relevant data-protection authority.
To exercise applicable rights, contact [email protected].
We may request reasonable information to verify your identity and locate the relevant account, merchant or request. We will not ask you to send us a password.
If we process information on behalf of a merchant, requests concerning that information may need to be directed to the merchant. We will assist the merchant as required by our agreement and applicable law.
8. Cookies and browser storage
Our main website and documentation do not intentionally persist visitor preferences in cookies or browser storage.
For more information about cookies, browser storage and third-party resources, see our cookies and storage notice.
Individual applications or integrations may have different storage or third-party-service behavior. Where that behavior is material to users or merchants, it is described in the relevant service documentation or notice.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the information we handle and the services we provide. These measures may include access controls, authentication, encryption where appropriate, provider controls and security monitoring.
No method of transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.
If you believe you have discovered a security issue, contact [email protected]. Do not include passwords, credentials or unnecessary personal information in your report.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our services, processing activities, providers or legal requirements change.
We will update the effective date when the policy changes and provide additional notice where required by applicable law, particularly where we introduce materially different uses of personal information.
